Never Met a Pig

Listen to this Poem
We live in
glamorized rot
Endlessly polished turds
Entertainment
Enter payment
Enter-pain-ment
The ugly and sinful
reign while
virtue of every kind
suffers their enormous creativity
in generating ever diverse methods of
desacration.
The world will not change
so long as they remain
in a position
to pull the strings.
They will always lust for power
as well as what is
not for sale
but even they
are not beyond
redemption
even while they seem beyond
reconciliation.
They call our pleas for change
and justice
violence
While exercising every manner of violence
against us.
What madness is this
that we permit this to continue?
How can we forget our forebears
who survived famine and frost, conquest
and every manner of calamity?
Who took their corrupt kings
and flayed them publicly to
restore the king’s spirit?
While the wicked make no disguise
of their hatred and intentions for us?
To leave blood unspilled is
an act of violence greater than
any aggression.
But then, of course,
they would have their justification
as well as the support of
100 million dipshits.
How long I have prayed over you!
To open your hearts!
I know that you’re hurt
Must scream
without a mouth.
But so long as you perpetuate violence
you remain the tool of
The Enemy.
Not our group versus their group
Their group versus all groups.
Our stories often tell
that it takes a common hatred
to find unity.
Will we be friends or opponents
to freedom?
That is the
real question.
One that cannot just be decided
Willy-Nilly.
The stakes are the absolute highest
that you could ever
play for:
The Future of Humanity
What will the lives of your
children and grandchildren
look like?
Do they even have lives
at all?
This is no hyperbole
The exact opposite, really
In my estimation,
the soberest presentation
of
the
facts.
They’re coming, readying
troves of bullshit
for us to eat.
There are some behaviors
which simply must be culled.
Denying this invites
warranted calamity upon
your flock.
The will to domination,
I must admit,
I have no better solution.
And I’m not saying that
this is it.
But experience and history
instruct me
that things change drastically
when neither side
believes themselves to be
invulnerable, untouchable.
To bow down in the face
of enormous oppression
is not human.
No, it is cowlike.
And aren’t we habitually
reticent to compare ourselves to
an animal?
Though the cow’s virtues
exceed many of our own
and certainly those whom
we would call our
leaders.
I never met a pig
dirtier than the President(s).
